CHAMONIX II The Chamonix II is a 2004 70-foot Gold Coast Catamaran with 2,380 square feet of party space. U.S. Coast Guard certified for 105 passengers, the Chamonix II offers a safe, spacious environment for guests of all ages to experience the joy of catamaran sailing.  At 70 x 32 ft, Chamonix II is the largest sailing Catamaran in the State of Texas! Designed for water adventures The Chamonix II offers open, well-ventilated deck space providing protection from sun and spray, with ample room for a band and moonlight dancing. For your dining pleasure, your own caterer or one of our preferred caterers can provide delicious food. Beverage service includes complimentary soft drinks, fruit juices and water. Alcohol must be brought on board by the customer due to Lake Lewisville restrictions. A TABC bartender must be contracted by Chamonix. Catamaran design Bar/ Food service Chamonix II has a sit down bar with 10 bar stools. Two large commercial refrigerators to keep food items cold. Dance floor/band stand area Party on our 10 x 14 dance floor area. Bathrooms Two bathrooms with push button flush and sink. Showers Two fresh water rinse off showers, one on bow and one on stern. Bow nets area/ Boarding ladders This is one of the favorite areas for guests to enjoy having a cocktail or lying on the nets and relaxing. A boarding ladder is between the two bow nets and the other is on the starboard stern. Roof deck At anchor, the roof deck is ideal for sunbathing. Buffet/food service area Across from the bar area to starboard is a display/buffet set up area which can be used for cold salads or for chaffing dishes. Seating and tables - Approximately 65 seats. Music system A stereo system with amplifiers provides a great sound system for dinner music or dancing. Satellite radio, CD player, iPod mixer. Ask us for DJ recommendations or bring your own CD's or DJ and party with your favorite music. Foul weather enclosures The open area on each side of the roof can be enclosed with top and side bimini curtains. Brunch cruises This year we are working Closely with Sneaky Pete's Restuarant for Brunch cruises and large party events. Combine a sail over the water aboard Chamonix and the amenities Sneaky Pete's offers. You can't miss. Want other water toys for your event on the water? We work with several other companies to supply water toys upon request, such as jet skis, water ski boats with or without driver, para-sailing, etc. They include Just For Fun, JT's Boat Rentals, and Flying and Floating Toys. He has been sailing since he was 23 years old and has an abundance of experience on trimarans and catamarans ranging in size from 16 feet to 70 feet. He currently owns three vessels - a 46 foot custom designed day sailing catamaran built in England and  located in Sardinia Italy, a Dakota 33 high performance catamaran designed by Malcolm Tennant, built in New Zealand and now sailing in Egypt and a 70 foot Gold Coast Day Charter sailing catamaran that was built in the USVirgin Islands and is now sailing in the Dallas area on Lake Lewisville at Pier 121 marina.
